Using Google Hangouts, Skype or other video conferencing programs, we can bring a hands-on archaeological field trip to any classroom in the world. Your classroom will receive dozens of colonial and native artifacts from the Thomas Tobey dig site before the virtual field trip so that students can touch and see the items our archaeologist will describe during the presentation. Our archaeologists will discuss the history of the Thomas Tobey Site and show artifacts found there such as the whale vertebrae that was used as a chopping block, Native American arrowheads, jewelry, pottery, smoking pipes, musket balls, and many other articles. They will unravel the lost history of one of the original founders of Cape Cod in an entertaining, informative and interactive presentation within the time period of a single classroom session.
$400 for a single classroom session. Please call to adjust pricing for a multiple classroom experience.
